Measures Against COVID-19

COVID Measures
We are strictly following CDC guidance in the way we sanitize our boxes and deliver them safe to you. We all use supporting PPE with the safety and health of your and our family and staff as our main concern. Since 2017 we have used in our cleaning process eco-friendly disinfection and decontamination solutions. Each Eco-box and dolly goes through 4 steps cleaning process: Step 1 - quarantine for 7 days; Step 2 - cleaned and vacuumed; Step 3 - disinfected with Biosque (plant based and food safe disinfectant); Step 4 - sealed with Ecoseal (nanotechnology-based eco friendly sealant and protectant). Our experience dates from the pre-Covid crisis. We have experience applying food safe detergents which are EPA - registered and approved. We follow the best practices and protocols recommended by the experts from EPA and CDC to mitigate and spread SARS-CoV-2 / Novel Coronavirus. We are in this together and together can go through it!

Ordering

Which package should I select?
The Eco-Box it packages have been set up to accommodate the number of bedrooms per residence to provide our clients a suggested number of boxes to meet their respective needs. However, if you find yourself always looking for places to put things due to a lack of storage space you may want to select the next package up. Alternatively, if storage space is not an issue at your residence, perhaps downsizing to a smaller package is the way to go. Either way, Eco-Box it is there ready to assist you.
What delivery and pick up dates and times are available?
Once you select the package you desire, a calendar and drop down bar with available time slots will appear. Please select the dates and times that are most convenient with your schedule
How do I pay for the boxes & supplies?
We accept major credit cards and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club. We also accept gift and prepaid cards from the same companies listed above. Eco-Box it takes your security seriously so all transactions are processed through a secured checkout process.
Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
Absolutely! After you select the most convenient dates and times for your delivery and pick up, Eco-Box it will automatically send you a confirmation email confirming your order. An Eco-Box it Team driver will even text or call you the day of delivery and pick up to confirm his/her arrival so you are always up-to-date.
Can delivery & pick up dates be changed?
Of course! Because we understand that life can be very unpredictable at times and we experience the same unpredictability as you! Family, business, weather, traffic, etc. all adds up to lots of unpredictability. We only request that you contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements. We guarantee that we will do our best to accommodate your request but our time slots fill up quickly and we cannot guarantee last minute changes. However, we will work together with you to find a solution.
What is the minimum rental period?
Our minimum rental period is 1 week. If you choose to keep them less than 1 week we will try to accommodate an earlier pick up but unfortunately no discounts will be provided.
What if I finish early before the selected pick up date?
Simply reach out to us at contact@ecoboxit.com or call us at (443)854-1458. We will do our best to accommodate an early pick up. Unfortunately no discounts apply for an early pick up as the inventory was reserved in advance and unavailable for other customers.
What if I need the boxes long-term; more than 6 weeks?
It’s Simple – contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request
When should I place my order?
As soon as possible! Reduce the stress of moving by securing your boxes early. Most customers place orders 3 to 4 weeks before they move to secure the available box inventory.

Payment

How do I pay for the boxes & supplies?

Eco-Box it takes your security very seriously so all transactions are processed through a secured checkout process.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes, Eco-Box it offers 50% discounts off for additional full week rentals after the first week.
Are there any hidden fees?
Simply Put: No.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes and No: Let’s start with No - If you cancel within a full 144 hours / 6 days of the original delivery date and time there will be no fee and a full refund to your account will occur within 14 business days. Now the flip side, Yes there is a fee. There is a 25% fee of the original order amount if less than 144 hours / 6 days notice is given for a cancellation. Please remember we had to reserve and set aside boxes on your behalf that could have been available in inventory for another customer.

Delivery & Pick Up

Where does Eco-Box it deliver and pick up?
Ground floor, curbside and/or elevator delivery/pick up.
How soon can I receive my order?
As soon as you select the dates and delivery times that are most convenient with your schedule we will be there.
Will I receive a confirmation of my delivery and pick up?
Absolutely! After you select the most convenient dates and times for your delivery and pick up, Eco-Box it will automatically send you a confirmation email confirming your order. Our Eco-Box it Team driver will even text or call you the day of delivery and pick up to confirm his/her arrival so you are always up-to-date.
What information should I provide Eco-Box it regarding the delivery and pick up?
For safety and security reasons we encourage all our customers to fill out the Delivery Details and Pick Up Details when checking out so everything runs smoothly. Recommended details include such things as: Are there loading docks, driveways or parking areas that our drivers should use?; is there security or concierge services that we need to coordinate with?; Are there apartment numbers, door codes, security information our drivers need to be aware of?; Are there stairs or are you at street level?; Is there an elevator accessible at street level? Ultimately you know your area better than we do and we kindly request that you provide us any information that will be beneficial to the driver upon delivery and pick up.
Do I have to be present to accept delivery?
Yes, unless you designate someone to sign on your behalf. We require 48-hours advanced notice via email appointing a designee to sign on your behalf. Safety first.
Do I have to be present during the pick up?
Yes, unless you designate someone to return the packages to us at pick up.
What happens if there is a major snow or ice storm?
We live in an area that unfortunately gets impacted by these extreme events. Because of the unpredictable nature of such events we can only guarantee that we will do our best to get you your order on time. If we cannot do it safely, we will coordinate with you to find a mutually acceptable solution and reschedule accordingly. We thank you in advance for your consideration should such an event occur during your scheduled delivery or pick up.
What is the service area of Eco-Box it?
Mainly the Greater Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. However, please enter your zip code in the website to see if we service your area. If a pop-up message indicates that we do not service your area, please feel free to contact us at contact@ecoboxit.com to confirm. It is possible a new zip code was created in our service area and needs to be added to the website. To thank you for helping us we will provide you an additional 10 boxes at no cost
